happy christmas!

Some Christmas day pictures!

tired in the morning

Lucie had to build a snowman on animal crossing right away!

I wonder if Absynthe works?...
More pics when I work out the camera problems.

Christmas eve was great! Started out with delicious Chili's dinner! Hm... new eating-out tradition? Then was dirty styrofoam--great--and then midnight mass--which always pisses me off a little bit at least, but was still nice. Mom and dad wanted us in the bedroom early, and then when we weren't asleep really late Santa started yelling pissed-off through the door.
Today we got to see some cousins and an uncle, and now Cindy is over for dinner. Surprisingly good Christmas! no mishaps at all.

merry christmas to all and to all a good night!

Maurice Sendak tribute...

Because he reminds me of Christmas and the Nutcracker.

the bjork orc?

I used to do this thing where I'd listen to my music on shuffle and try to finish a sketch inspired by each song that came up. Usually I had to listen two or two and a half times through for enough time to draw... It's a good way to get your imagination going, and this was drawn during the Bjork song "Enjoy" several months ago. Why I drew this guy, I don't know,,,

Another colored sketch

It's great how on photoshop it no longer matters wether it's on lined paper or not. Apparently I was leaning about the pantheon...
It's Delirium and Morpheus from the Sandman, by the way. For anyone who hasn't gotten through the series, he looks like this at one point.

A new picture from an old drawing

I used to draw Severus Snape oh so much. This was a pencil drawing that I snagged off of the old desktop today and colored...

Here's a collage I posted to my deviantart a while back that shows just how much I drew Snape. I think these are from my first semester of college, but I'm not sure...
I was so so positive he was good. And we all know how that turned out, haha.

Finney and Corey

I first drew the sketch of this while camping at Blue Lake... Not the greatest coloring job, but you can see where I'm headed. I may truly finish it someday.

One of my favorites...

This post is dedicated to Tove Jansson, one of my favorite artist/writers.

Such a genius! I am so inspired by her characters and themes... These drawings are from different books than each other.

Thanksgiving fun

One of my favorite parts of Thanksgiving was our walk/quest around the neighborhood

Trying to catch leaves and stomp around and stuff. Can't get enough of the fall weather!
